Fifteen years ago, I left my country, my family, my culture, my language, to move to Europe to become a film director. It was a completely unknown place for me. I put my soul, my time, my heart and my energy into filmmaking.
Later, in the United States, I studied screenwriting and whole other world opened up for me. I care about people and writing was my way into the human soul.
Today, I am an award-winning writer/director and I love experiencing the full journey of making a film, from the first flicker of an idea until it has become a movie, lighting up the cinema screen. Filmmaking is my passion.
My current projects are ? A Rose for Maria ?, a psychological thriller in pre-production about a woman desperate to escape from her oppressive mother. ? A Trip to the Moon ?, a family comedy drama where a teenager dreams of achieving the impossible, and ? Enlightening Truth?, a political thriller about a Pakistani Muslim immigrant in Denmark.
