Pilar Anguita-MacKay is a screenwriter based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

My background is that of a Latin American woman who speaks and writes in French, English, and Spanish, and who has lived for 5 years in California, 20 in Chile, and 30 in Switzerland. My parents are descendants of Spanish and Scottish settlers, I’m married to a Fribourg native and I’m the mother of two teenagers born in Vaud… In short, all of this makes me a rich blend of cultures — an asset as a screenwriter.

My writing reflects who I am: clear, direct, and oriented toward action, as screenwriting requires. I have several produced films and series as well as various awards — all detailed in the Work section — but what matters most to me is the chance to do every day what I’m passionate about : writing.
