Pilar Anguita-MacKay writes scripts in English, French and Spanish.

Granted a MFA in Screenwriting for cinema and television, with noteworthy distinction, by the University of Southern California, today, Pilar is an award-winning screenwriter whose scripts have won prizes in both the United States and Europe.

In 2012 she received the Quartz Swiss Award Best Feature Screenplay for "Summer Games", directed by Rolando Colla. In 2007 her feature "Moon on the Snow" was awarded Best Screenplay at the Funchal International Film Festival, Portugal. In 2000, her screenplay "A Rose for Maria" won the Jack Nicholson Screenwriters Award at USC, US.

Creator and writer of the fantasy/mystery TV series «ANOMALIA», 8x45', produced in Switzerland by Point Prod and RTS, broadcasted on winter 2016.

Co-creator and co-writer of the thriller TV series «Silent Water», 6x45', developped in Switzerland by NOSE Productions and RSI.

 

Pierre De Clercq made his debut with the feature-length documentary JAN COX, A PAINTER’SODYSSEY, winning the Award for Best Biography at the Montreal International Festival of Films on Art. His encounter with producer Erwin Provoost, current head of the Flemish Film Fund, resulted in the search-and-rescue adventure series WINDKRACHT 10 / STORM FORCE (1997-1998). Subsequently, the two of them created FLIKKEN / COPS(1999-2009), Belgium’s longest running police series. The Dutch spin-off FLIKKEN. MAASTRICHT is currently in its 12th season.

He turned to writing features with VERLENGD WEEKEND / A LONG WEEKEND (2005), a social comedy about two factory workers holding hostage their fraudulentboss. WINDKRACHT 10 / STORM FORCE (2006) was the movie based on the series.Both were directed by Hans Herbots

With writer-producer Jean-Claude Van Rijckeghem he went on to write the quirky romcom A PERFECT MATCH (2007), directed by Miel Van Hoogenbemt.HASTA LA VISTA / COME AS YOU ARE (2011) tells the story of three disabled young men travalling to Spain to live their first sexual experience. The movie, directedby Geoffrey Enthoven, was sold to more than 40 territories and won numerousinternational awards a.o. People’s Choice Award at the 25th European FilmAwards, Grand Prix des Amériques and Public Award at World Film FestivalMontréal, Golden Spike and Youth Award at the 56e International Filmfestival ofValladolid, Public Award at the 15e Festival International de l’Alpe d’Huez, Audience Award at 47th Karlovy Vary IFF, Best Screenplay Award Flemish Writer’s Guild and Ensor for Best Screenplay 2012.

In 2014 three features were released that he scripted: HALFWAY [dir.: GeoffreyEnthoven], currently being remade in Germany and Mexico, the multiple award-winningchildren’s movie LABYRINTHUS [dir.: Douglas Boswell] and BRABANÇONNE/ A BELGIAN RHAPSODY, a musical about Belgium’s linguistic squabbles directedby Vincent Bal. BROER / BROTHER, his third film together with director Geoffrey Enthoven and set in Ireland, followed in 2016. He reteamed with Jean-Claude Van Rijckeghem for the limited series AMIGO’S, a tragicomic tale of 5 ex-convicts trying to redeem themselves by opening a restaurant. David Howard is a screenwriter and producer who has authored more that two dozen produced film and television projects. These works have won such awards as the Emmy Award, the Blue Bear at Berlinale, the German Film Prize, an Audience Prize at Edinburgh, the Humanitas Award and the Cable/ACE in the U.S. plus the Silver Goddess Award in Mexico.

Among his most notable productions are: "Hidden Moon" recently released in Mexico; the German-English production of "Albert Schweitzer" about the life of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate; "SOS: Sexo y Otros Secretos" television series for Televisa, Mexico on which he has a producing credit; multiple award-winner "Sea of Dreams"; the widely honored "My Friend Joe" winner of the Blue Bear at Berlin; Emmy-winner "Rugrats"; and Humanitas-winner "Wildflower”.

 

Uwe Lutzen writes for cinema and TV and is based in Zurich and Berlin. He also advises stories in development as a script doctor and dramaturge.

He has a background in theatre as a director and writer. And he studied at the universities of Zurich and of Amsterdam and he completed with a master degree in Film Studies and German Literature and Linguistics.
